Coco Paving Proposal on Environmental Registry

Coco Paving Inc. has submitted a proposal in relation to an overall benefit permit under clause 17(2)(c) of the Endangered Species Act, 2007 to advance their big box development on a piece of our Ojibway Prairie.

The public can comment at the Ontario Environmental Registry. You have until April 8, 2013 to submit your comments. Visit www.ebr.gov.on.ca and search Registry Number 011-8520 to place your comment.

ERCA Director Presents Tail On! Campaign

During our February meeting, ERCA Director Richard Wyma discussed the Essex Region Conservation Foundations Trail On! campaign, designed to rais funds to support trail development in the Essex Region, including the Essex-Amherstburg Greenway, a 22 kilometre multi-use recreational trail, bringing our vision of a region connected by trails one step closer to reality.
